What is DFW Aventure Boot Camp for Women?

A four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coachs and Owners, Jeanine Bowers and Suzette McAfee. Along with our wonderful team Katie Viator and Tarrah Lett.  Each day, camp will be one hour in length.  Start times vary at each location.

What if I'm not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

Where is the location we will meet?

The DFW Aventure Boot Camp has several locations for your convenience. Please check the calendar page for all boot camp locations.

What types of exercises are included in the program? 

Exercises include: Core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, games, functional training, sport yoga, daily stretching, pilates, sport drills, obstacle courses, surprises, and more!

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet every Monday through Friday, 3,4 or 5 days, for one hour during the four-week program. All participants will be expected to arrive on time.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring an exercise mat, small hand weights (3, 5, or 8 lbs.), water bottle, running shoes are required and a sense of adventure. You can purchase hand weights at any (Academy, Target or Wal-Mart).  Luke's Locker located in Colleyville offers 10% off regular priced items, just mention that you are participating in DFW Adventure Boot Camp for Women. They do an excellent job fitting you for the proper type of running shoe for your particular foot strike.

What can I achieve from camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence by making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll speed up your metabolism and lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet other great women who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You'll receive a FREE pre-camp assessment that custom creates a food program for you, and a t-shirt.  Invest in yourself in 2011 you are worth it!

Why should I participate?

Because if you put minimal effort into your life, you will get back minimal results! You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical, mental and emotional well-being. And you will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!

What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $179.00-3 day week, $199.00-4 day week and $229.00 for a 5 day week camp. Returning campers pay just $149.00 for 3, 4 or 5 days a week! Where else can you get these kind of results in such a short amount of time? Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $60 to $150 per hour for their services - this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by The Cooper Institute-Cerified Personal Trainers and NESTA, Adventure Boot Camp Trainers for just a fraction of the cost.

*The Adventure Boot Camp Program is designed to be done 5 days per week. However, there is a 3 and 4 day a week option  AND as the schedule permits a 1-week mini camp option. The 5 day program includes 20 sessions and is the best way to jump start your fitness and see dramatic improvements. The mini camps and 3, and 4 day per week programs are also beneficial and are especially good for those who are real beginners, are working with injuries or who want to compliment boot camp with other activities. 

What you can expect:

  1. One hour a day for 4 weeks
  2. Monday through Friday 5:30 - 6:30 AM
